Criticism from the coach: separate the tone from the content

Some coaches are loud. That doesn't make the information wrong – and the tone isn't okay.

HandballCoach feedback

"'What was that?!' gives zero info. 'You're standing too high, you need to get over there sooner' gives some. Your job right now is to pull out the information and leave the rest behind."

Immediately afterwards

One sentence for you: "Info: get over there earlier." No second sentence about you as a person.

If it's not about the tone

Insults, being singled out in front of the team, punishment drills: That's not coaching. Talk to your parents or another trusted adult about it. You don't have to figure this out alone.
