Motivation Check: Why bother?
05:00
- 1Separate two questions: "Do I not feel like it today?" and "Do I generally not want to do this anymore?"
- 2Write down three reasons why you started.
- 3Mark which ones still hold true today.
- 4Note down what's really bothering you right now – often it's not the sport, but a person or the pressure.
- 5Just decide the next step: a conversation, a week off, a training goal. Don't make a fundamental decision on a bad day.
When to use
When you've just been turning up for weeks because you feel you have to.
