Three process goals for your game
04:00
- 1Write down what you can influence in the game – not goals, not playing time.
- 2Choose three things that are always in your control: communication, running lines, first touch, retreat speed.
- 3Make each goal measurable: 'I'll communicate in every defensive situation' instead of 'more effort'.
- 4After the game, or after your 6 minutes: tick it off, honestly.
- 5After four games: look at patterns. This is your talking point with the coach.
When to use
When your worth in the team currently only depends on game time.
What's in it for you
Take back control and make your progress visible – regardless of the line-up.
