Editorial guidelines
Six stages from draft to publication.
As of: 1.8.2026
Workflow
- · Draft → Editorial review → Evidence review → Safety review → Approval → Publication.
- · No content goes live that has skipped a step.
- · Every published piece of content carries authorship, review body, and date of last review.
Language Rules
- · For teenagers: short, direct, no coach-speak, no infantilising.
- · For parents: contextualising, without blame, without diagnostic jargon.
- · No terms like 'depression', 'trauma', or 'anxiety disorder' to describe individuals.
Independence
Editing and expert review are separate. Writers don't self-review their own content freely.
